Owen Davies trained at the Royal School of Needlework where he now the Head of Education. He was the Royal School of Needlework's first male Apprentice and teaches hand embroidery workshops extensively to students and visitors from around the world, the embroidered knot garden course being one of the country's most popular courses. As a freelance embroiderer he devised and set up the Needlework Consultancy with the John Lewis Partnership. Owen's work is seen across the UK and on television.

Gill Holdsworth joined the Royal School of Needlework in 1993, where she is now Head of Student Education running a range of courses for the general public.
