It was a real treat to spend yesterday evening with your book!
I love its exuberance, its 'YOU can do it' approach, its generous
offering of ideas - and the little touches of wry humour: the bullion knot as an
'awkward little stitch', and the echoes of 'hysterical tantrums' when
shades don't match, struck particular chords for me. I could hear you
speaking!
You must both be very proud. I can only guess at the long and hard path
to producing this book but it really does stand out from the crowd of
run-of-the-mill embroidery books. It's inspirational and technically
supportive - and also a Good Read!
